Fallen Industry has had the opportunity to work on many incredible, massive and unique projects. Incorporating our sustainable live edge designs, reclaimed wood work and custom metal fabrication into architectural elements, large furniture items and custom installations. We work with some of the worlds largest architecture and interior design firms as well as directly with residential and business owners.
Ground floor lobby reception desk at 79 Laight Street, in Tribeca NYC. Made from a single 18' Claro Walnut live edge slab that "waterfalls" around the sides, continuing the wood grain from surface to surface. LED lights backlight the organic natural edge of the piece.
Half wood and half steel, this piece creates an interesting two person privacy division. The 6" space between the sections goes completely through without touching letting light peer through to the visitors side. Located near Bryant Park, NYC,
24/4" thick live edge Maple floating shelves finished with a light oxidized patina giving it a subtle aged color tone. These 3 massive shelves sit at 10' end to end. Located in the Wayan restaurant in Nolita NYC.
Made from four consecutive cuts of a live edge Walnut tree that had succumb to the twig beetle disease. The quadruple bookmatched piece inverts the live edge and allows the outer edges to be clean cut and functional. The center river is a blackened steel channel that houses five power ports with custom opening blackened steel doors. The microphones push down to mute and up to speak giving a voice to anyone seated at this massive 34' conference table.
Made from a single 14' live edge Walnut slab. Cut in half for elevator clearance, and joined back together with the best fasteners on the market. The edges of this pieces were extremely rough and decayed. We salvaged it by sculpting the live edge back and filling the voids with a clear acrylic resin that blended in beautifully.

Made from a single walnut slab (that was brought in on top of the elevator) the natural void in the table was used as a wire port for the poloycom.
Made from two consecutive live edge elm slabs from the same tree with an inlayed glass channel. Shown with mirror polished stainless steel Straight up legs that rail down the bottom sides of the slabs and connect only at the base so that it is unseen through the glass river.
17 walnut tables, some live edge, some straight and some communal. All beautifully adding to the sleek Japanese esthetic of Bloomingdales midtown's new restaurant Daikanyama.
Made from reclaimed NYC water tower wood with a natural aged gray patina. The brick like pattern is from where the steel braces held the water tower together. White formica desk surface intersects the divide. Battery Park, NYC.
