Before wood slabs are properly kiln dried, they can move, twist, and crack. Where others see waste, we see functional design. This piece entitled "2 halves are better than 1" had cracked right down the middle before it could be dried. Which made it ideal for a sectional coffee table or to be used as two occasional tables.
