BASES
We custom make each base to fit the contours of the live edge table you choose. When we put together your selection of slab options, they will be shown as rough cut slabs, but priced as finished live edge tables, including a custom fit and design steel base of your style choosing. Material upgrades are available, such as stainless steel but in general the base does not effect the cost of the table.
COST FACTORS
In this material here are 4 main cost factors. Species, thickness, figure and most of all width. Trees always grow tall, but seldom grow wide. The wider, thicker and more figurative the slab, the higher the cost. Wide diameter trees are fairly rare and priced accordingly. This 50 years for ever 10".
Hauling, milling, kiln drying and flattening are also all factored into the costs.
DESCRIPTION
A simple modern design that allows for added legroom and a touch more flare than the standard straight legged base. Bases come standard in steel. Bronze, brass or copper plating upgrades available.
